We had a lovely visit from Dogs Trust 26th October. Paul brought his dog Magic to meet us all.
We talked about what a dog needs to be happy and healthy; and how to keep dogs safe at Halloween.
Some lucky children got to pet Magic. Thank you Paul and Magic for coming to see us.
The Junior Room really enjoys taking part in Maths Week each year. We went to Ardagh Heritage and Creativity Centre, Ardagh, Co. Longford. The rain didn’t dampen our math spirits and we had great fun looking and creating with shapes in the centre.
You can visit the Ardagh Heritage and Creativity Centre Facebook page to see the great work we did with shapes.
Maths can be tiring work…

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our new students: 5 Junior Infants – Jessica, Amy, Tara, Quinn & Cian; 1 First Class – Isabella.
We got a lovely surprise at school today, an ice-cream van came and gave us each a yummy ice-cream! Thank you very much to our caretaker Seamus for the treat.
We used up lots of energy doing all the different activities during our Sports Day on Thursday 22nd June.
We had an excellent day on our tour to Mollie Moo’s Pet Farm in Mullingar on Wednesday 21st June. We had loads to do: playing in the playground; feeding all the animals; racing on go-karts; exploring a mini-town; digging in a sandpit and playing a round of crazy golf. We also found time to eat our lunch in the sunshine. We had some very tired Infants on the way home. It was a great day!
